Oneplan is a short-term insurer that prides itself on being paperwork-free.
They describe their plans in simple English and try not to use overly fancy words to avoid looking complicated in terms of what they offer. Oneplan offers pet, household, on-the-go, and car insurance.
Apply for a Car insurance quote
Apply for a quote online with Oneplan. Start by visiting their site and using the navigation tools to find the car insurance section (which would be right at the top). From there you can choose to either sign up online or just apply for a car insurance quote.
By just applying for a car insurance quote, Oneplan will require information from you to ensure that they can offer you the best available premiums for your car. The information required will be everything from the particulars found on your national ID. Anything vehicle-related will be asked too, and you can also use their slider to adjust the desired percentage of excess you require for your vehicle. Once this process is done they can provide you with a quote that you can choose to decline or accept.
Oneplan only offers insurance to vehicles that are for private use, anything that will be used commercially or that has more than 7 seats will not be able to receive car insurance from Oneplan. Oneplan also requires no in-person inspection. All that is required is a picture of your vehicle that will be sent to Oneplan.

Car Insurance claims made easy
The ease of having a digital platform that Oneplan provides will make one of the most tedious processes easier.
Before going through the process on the app, Oneplan insists you must follow traditional procedures as well. This means reporting the incident to the police, calling the Oneplan emergency hotline to arrange an authorized tow truck. Write out the details of the event within 30 days of the incident.
The DIY pre-paid claims process. It is as follows:
- Logging into your Oneplan app
- Selecting the “Load claim” from the home page
- Select “vehicle”
- You will then select which item you are claiming for
- Select if it is for theft or accident
The rest will all be managed by Oneplan, including any legal liabilities that will include a payout. And any repairs that need to be done will be done within 90 days of the authorization after you have claimed from your car insurance.
